Congressman Crowley presents a carving of a firefighter to the Search and Rescue Team at Rescue 4 in Woodside. The plaque was made as a tribute from a New Mexico craftsman to the FDNY for their bravery during the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11th. The carving was presented to Crowley by Congresswoman Heather Wilson (New Mexico). Rescue 4 lost seven men in World Trade Center: Capt. Brian Hickey, Lt. Kevin Dowdell, Firefighters Terry Farrell, Bill Mahoney, Pete Nelson, Durrell Pearsall, and Pete Brennan. |
