Congressman Crowley Participates in Lunar New Year Parade

(Queens, N.Y.) – On Saturday, February 4, Congressman Joe Crowley (D-Queens, the Bronx) joined the community in celebrating the Lunar New Year by participating in the annual Lunar New Year Parade and Festival in Flushing.

“Gung Hay Fat Choy! The Lunar New Year is a reminder of the great culture and diversity we have here in Queens. It is also a time to reflect on the many contributions the Asian-American community has made to our great City and our nation as a whole. I am proud to join in the celebration of the Lunar New Year and I extend best wishes for good health and prosperity,” said Rep. Crowley.

Congressman Crowley is the seven-term representative from the 7th Congressional District of New York, which includes sections of Queens and the Bronx. He is a member of the powerful Ways and Means Committee and serves as a Chief Deputy Whip in the House of Representatives.
