Obtain a Grant I encourage community groups in New York's 7th Congressional District to utilize the resources available through my office to seek federal funds. I provide assistance in a variety of capacities, including writing letters of recommendation for grant applicants, directing grant seekers to appropriate federal agencies, and recommending technical assistance providers who can advise and lend expert training to the non-profit sector. It is my hope that community groups in my district will take advantage of the information dispensed by my office in order to be awarded monies and improve the neighborhoods in which we live and work.
