Q: Who can assist me with Medicaid?
 
A: Medicaid is run by the State of New York, even though the federal government shares in the cost of some programs. If you have any questions about applying for Medicaid or to see if you qualify, you should visit the New York State Department of Health or call 518-486-9057 (or 1-800-505-5678).
