Chairman Crowley Statement on White House Decision to Separate Families at the Border

(Washington, D.C.) – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley (D-Queens, the Bronx) issued the following statement on President Trump’s newly announced policy to separate children from their parents when families are detained at the border:

“This is without a doubt one of the cruelest, most inhumane decisions President Trump has proposed so far. Shame on him and shame on any Republican who doesn’t immediately speak out against it.”
