Congressman Crowley Joins Ecuadorian-American Community at the Ecuadorian Day Parade in Queens

(Queens, N.Y.) – Congressman Joe Crowley (D-Queens, the Bronx) joined the community in the annual Ecuadorian Day Parade held on Sunday, August 7th.

“I am honored to join the Ecuadorian-American community in Queens to celebrate Ecuador’s Independence Day and the rich heritage and culture of the Ecuadorian people. The Ecuadorian-American community has made tremendous contributions to Queens and all of New York City and I am proud to pay tribute to their commitment to our community,” said Rep. Crowley. 

New York’s 7th Congressional District is home to a strong and vibrant Ecuadorian-American community, many of whom reside throughout Queens.

Congressman Crowley is a seven-term representative from the 7th Congressional District of New York, which includes sections of Queens and the Bronx. He is a member of the Ways and Means Committee and is a chief deputy whip in the Democratic leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives.
